Requesting an Alphanumeric Sender ID
Before you start
You can only use Alphanumeric Sender IDs in sending SMS broadcasts and Email to SMS.
Here are some things to know before you begin this process.
- You know what’s allowed in an Alphanumeric Sender ID. Here are the considerations in coming up with an Alphanumeric Sender ID.
- You must complete and sign an LOA (letter of authorization). This form will be emailed to you by our customer support team.
Requesting an Alphanumeric Sender ID
To request an Alphanumeric Sender ID, follow these steps.
- Go to SMS > Sender IDs
- Select Request Alphanumeric Sender ID.
- Type your business name or your preferred name in Alphanumeric Sender ID.
- Select Submit Request. Our customer support team will contact you for more details. This will include the purpose of the messages, the destination of the messages and sample message templates.
- The Alphanumeric Sender ID you requested will appear pending until approved.
